For its fourth annual AC Giveaway contest, Chas Roberts has selected a winner in Phoenix and Tucson to each receive a free air conditioning and heating system with installation.
- Phoenix Children’s Project: This year, for the Phoenix winner Chas Roberts selected the extended family that makes up the Phoenix Children’s Project. This nonprofit organization helps impoverished children in the Phoenix metro area in myriad ways, including providing back-to-school clothes and supplies, Christmas and Easter gifts, family food boxes, swimming lessons and even a summer camp. Chas will be installing two systems: one in a single family home that houses a family in need and another in a home used for a children’s community center where children can play games, read, do crafts and learn, all in a safe and fun environment.
- The Walker Family: In Tucson, the family of Adam and Melissa Walker will be receiving a new home air conditioning system. Melissa is a teacher and supports her family while Adam attends school to earn his teaching degree. Melissa is pregnant with the couple’s third child.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide a Carrier or Goodman HVAC system to each of these worthy winners,” said Chas Roberts CEO Sissie Roberts Shank. “We’ve always selected individuals or families so this year, with the selection of Phoenix Children’s Project, it was especially gratifying to be able to help many people at one time.”
Nominations were submitted online via ChasRoberts.com and by text and winners are selected based on the stories of need detailed in the nomination form.
