Helping Needy Families Beat the Heat.

Phoenix, Arizona (June, 2011) Thanks for all your entries for our AC Giveaway contest. For the second year in a row, Chas Roberts Air Conditioning and Heating selected two Arizona families without a working home air conditioning system to receive a free unit and installation. The units were installed just in time to get these families through the brutal summer heat.

Hundreds of families were nominated to receive this generous prize through Chas Roberts’ Cool Play A.C. Giveaway Contest.

All of the nominations received by Chas Roberts conveyed touching, personal stories. Two winners were selected: Jeff Rosati of Maricopa, Arizona and Kim Karr of Mesa, Arizona.

“It was heartening to read all of the stories of personal need and we were so happy to have the opportunity to help these great families,” said Chas Roberts CEO Roberta Roberts Shank. “We are a family-owned Arizona business and we recognize the importance of giving back to this community that has been so good to our business.”

The Chas Roberts Cool Play A.C. Giveaway Contest ran June 1-30 and people were encouraged to nominate someone in need by filling out the contest form available on ChasRoberts.com. Each family received a new air conditioning system (donated by Goodman® and Carrier), installed by Chas Roberts, and four tickets to an Arizona Diamondbacks game provided by Fox Sports Arizona.
