Winners Announced! Chas Roberts Awards Two Free AC Systems

For the sixth year, top Phoenix air conditioning service provider Chas Roberts Air Conditioning & Plumbing has selected two winners to receive a free air conditioning system, as part of the Chas Roberts Cool Play AC Giveaway. The program allows Chas Roberts to give something back to the community that has made the company the largest provider of Arizona air conditioning service and installation.

In Arizona, air conditioning is a must-have for homeowners, not just for comfort, but for health and safety reasons as well. It’s especially important that homes of the elderly and with children have air conditioning systems in proper working order.

And the Winners Are…

To find the most deserving recipients, Chas Roberts asked members of the community to nominate those in need of a new, properly-working new Carrier or Goodman air conditioning system. Nominations were submitted online via ChasRoberts.com and winners were selected based on the stories of need detailed in the nomination form.

• Arizona Small Dog Rescue, a no-kill rescue shelter, has saved the lives of many abandoned, neglected and abused dogs. Most of the animals in their shelter come from the Maricopa County Animal Control’s euthanasia list and from other shelters in the area. In just 2014 the nonprofit saved more than 3,000 lives. The shelter’s air conditioning system was old and had to go through multiple Phoenix AC repairs last summer because the nonprofit didn’t have funds to pay for a new unit.
• The Carletons lost their home after having to pay extensive medical bills for their daughter, who has endured numerous surgeries and requires several expensive medications. They have lived with family over the past two years and are currently staying in a home where the air conditioning system unit is over 30 years old and temperatures in the home can range from 90 degrees or higher in the middle of the day.
